As we kick off the third quarter of the year with our new Back to School collection, we wanted to share a few key updates with you from Q2 — one of our busiest quarters each year. We’ll start with our giveback initiatives and end with a recap of an exciting planner season!
Giving Back
To date, EC has donated over $1M, and in our second quarter this year, we launched several initiatives close to our hearts, spanning donations, volunteering, and collaborating with new artists on collections that give back.
Education
We love teachers! And we love seeing how they use our school supplies to stay organized and inspired all school year long. I wanted to share a few photos and a short message from Camisha Davis, a wonderful elementary school principal we met at this year’s Go Wild Planner Conference:

Community Outreach
In Q2, our Texas EC Team arranged volunteer service days with non-profits that do impactful work with some of our underserved communities in Austin.
EC and Todos Juntos
Our team truly enjoyed the time they spent volunteering with Todos Juntos — a non-profit that supports the academic and social well-being of immigrant and refugee families in Central Texas through education, empowerment, and community support.
We were also able to donate teacher planners, notepads, and writing tools to all 18 teachers who help educate the children and parents at this wonderful organization in South Austin. The good work they do helps provide better educational outcomes for the kids and a stronger path to career success for the adults.
We are so proud to be helping connect with some of these local Austin non-profits to help in any way we can and to eventually bring them onsite to share their programs with our EC family. We want to help associates on their English language journey, give them access to learn more about workforce readiness, and allow them the opportunity to enroll their kids in the program, too. -Elka Nelson, Erin Condren HR Director
We look forward to more volunteer events with Todos Juntos as well as other organizations, including our HR Director helping the adults with composing resumes, preparing for job interviews, and more.
EC and Con Mi Madre
Members of our Austin team continued our local community outreach with the non-profit Con Mi Madre via volunteering at their 2023 graduation ceremony and supplying every graduate with notebooks, writing tools, and bags.
Con Mi Madre empowers young Latinas and their mothers through education and support services that increase preparedness, participation, and success in post-secondary education.
The group picture above features our HR Director Elka Nelson (left) and Ruben Alejos (right), a member of our Production Team, and his wife and daughter (center), who both participated in the Con Mi Madre program. Ruben’s daughter is applying to Harvard Law School, thanks to this wonderful program!
Giveback Collections
We launched two more featured artist collections celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May, and Pride Month in June. These collaborations are a part of our ongoing Heritage and Awareness Months series that has given back over $240,000 in support of social justice, education, equitable healthcare, and more.

Student Design Contest
In June, we launched our first-ever student Academic Planner cover design contest, and the submissions are beyond impressive! You can see which designs are trending on Instagram and cast your vote for your favorite here!
Notable New Product Launches
Q2 product launches are dominated by planners, planners, planners! We rolled out collection after collection of LifePlanners, Teacher Lesson Planners, Monthly Planners, and more with new designs, upgraded features, and matching accessories to enhance your planning experience.
