I love to brag about my nieces…they are absolutely hilarious, brilliant, imaginative, precious & darling – TIMES TWO. I can say all these things since they aren’t “really” mine. (Yes, twins are everywhere in our family!) Since we live a bit more than an hour away, I like to send happy packages or style them with fun treats to let them know that “auntie” is thinking of them always. (they call me “color wonder auntie” since I am always changing my hair color. ha!) They are excited to deliver treats to their school friends this year with spooky stickers that are (of course) personalized. Hi everyone! So sorry we’ve been MIA for a bit, Holiday Madness is here!!!! We’re all trying to accomplish long to-do lists but I promise to give this blog a little more love. 
I hope everyone’s summer was great, it went by so fast!
So for our first blog of the fall, I’d like to introduce you to a friend of ours: Connor Barry! Or, should we say- Mr. Representative? 
.. Connor recently ran for the position of Class Representative for his fifth grade class. His slogan was, “Vote for Connor Barry or it’s gonna get scary!” We made some campaign stickers (customized from our Boo! Halloween gift labels) and some 8×10 Campaign signs for his siblings to display. Needless to say, Connor won the election! Congrats from all of us, Connor!

This economic crisis is sure taking it’s toll on everyone, but it kills me to see our children suffer as school programs are cut and teachers get their “pink slips.” Most schools have a teacher appreciation week, but I think they should be celebrated everyday! Our labels can be personalized to celebrate a special teacher with style. In packs of 23, each child could wear one to school or on a field trip to identify them as a group. (until the class sizes grow and you might need two packs…ugh)

It’s that time of year again, when we all need to rally to support our local schools. With further budget cuts during these difficult economic times, our schools need our help more than ever! Pink slips have been handed out to teachers and important programs are on the chopping blocks – WE ALL MUST DO WHAT WE CAN TO KEEP OUR SCHOOLS STRONG! We attended our school fundraiser this past weekend and I was blown away by all the hard work and dedication it takes to execute such an event. It took dozens of volunteers and countless hours to coordinate, but the night was a huge success!
