make a CHANGE in your school!

As we struggle with budget cuts in our schools in this dreadful California budget crisis, we all are doing what we can to keep our vital school programs alive.  This week our school has initiated a “change jar competition” between the grades to inspire more donations…every penny adds up and can ultimately save a teacher’s job, a music program, PE and anything else on the chopping block.  I made stickers for the kids to wear or stick on folders or skateboards if they donate…time to empty our piggy banks!

Our neighborhood had a lemonade stand on Memorial Day and raised $41 for our school!

We Loved Her Cover!

Let’s continue with our contest winners! Here is our second pick from last month’s “We Love Your Cover” contest! Julie Minck chose our Taffy Life Planner in our popular Mocha/Pool colorway. Here’s what Julie had to say about her darling photo!:

“The story behind the picture is simple.  Seize the opportunity!  It is hard to get four boys to take a Christmas Photo so one night before bed when they were all clean I grabbed my camera and there you have it!” – Julie

Thanks & Congrats Julie!

Hi everyone! Here is our first pick from the “We Love Your Cover” contest! Lori Matthaidess chose our Name in Lights Life Planner, and we customized it to match the colors in her photo. Didn’t it turn out great? Here’s what she chimed in:

“This year when I saw on your website that you could add a photo, and I knew exactly which one to add.  We are avid Iowa Hawkeye fans and every year have season tickets.  The kids love to go with us to a few games.  It was so much fun to create the cover of my new planner with our family picture and coordinate the colors with it.  As any busy mom knows, your planner is your lifeline.  If it isn’t in there, it doesn’t get done!” – Lori

Thanks & Congrats Lori!
